Head Chef Vacancy

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Head Chef to join our friendly, family-run farm park business. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys cooking hearty, home-cooked food in a lively, child-friendly environment.

Our cafe serves a classic, crowd-pleasing menu for both children and adults alike and we also host seasonal events and themed days, offering the opportunity to introduce fun and creative twists to the menu.

Key Responsibilities

As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including:

Overseeing all kitchen operations and food preparation

Managing, training and motivating kitchen staff

Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and presentation

Menu development, including seasonal and event-based offerings

Stock control, ordering and minimising waste

Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene, health & safety and due diligence requirements

Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen

Managing kitchen schedules to meet seasonal demand

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Has proven experience as a Head Chef or is a Sous Chef looking for the next step up

Is confident managing a team and leading by example

Has a passion for fresh, home-cooked food

Is organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure

Understands food safety regulations and kitchen compliance

Enjoys working in a family-focused, fast-paced environment

Pay of circa, £15 per hour dependant on experience
