Here at Swithens Farm
Get up close and personal with a fantastic mix of traditional farm animals…and a few surprises too! Little ones (and let’s be honest, grown-ups too) will be as happy as pigs in muck as they feed, pat, and learn all about life on a real working farm. From caring for the animals to discovering fascinating farmyard facts, it’s a hands-on adventure the whole family will love!

Meet the Animals
You can start in the cow shed, then visit the pigs, and take a walk to see the Highlands or bulls (seasonal).
In the paddocks, you’ll find sheep, goats, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, and emus, plus chickens, turkeys, and chicks. In the small animal barn, meet meerkats, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and in spring and summer, enjoy bottle-feeding lambs and calves!
Keep an eye out for our cheeky friend Bilbo, who may just race you up the paddocks!
Feed the Fun
Buy a tub of carrots for £1 and feed the animals as you explore. Tubs are recycled daily (please return them to the marked bins.)

FILMING & SOCIAL MEDIA
Regarding our promotional videos shared on social media and other platforms, please be advised that these videos are professionally produced on-site to showcase what we offer our guests and to be informative to potential visitors about what to expect on the Farm.
We endeavour to display clear signage at the front entrance and tills stating that “we may be filming today,” ensuring that guests enter the farm aware of the potential of filming on the site either via our staff or professionals. While 99% of people are happy to participate in the filming, given the nature of our filming, it is impractical to ask every single visitor, especially those in the background of main shots. However, we are more than willing to edit out anyone who wishes not to appear in our videos.
Simply contact us or speak with the cameraman on the day. Please note that we do not film every day, only on selected opening days.
We hope you enjoy your time with us at Swithens Farm.
Sincerely, team Swithens.
