Open Farm
If you're looking for a great family experience in Leeds, then why not come and say hello to the animals at Swithens Farm?
Enjoyed by both children and parents alike, a visit to our Open Farm gives you the chance to meet a whole host of friendly animals - and you can even feed them too!

The animals you see may vary slightly depending on the time of year, but you should have the opportunity to see cows and calves, pigs and piglets, rabbits, ducks, geese and our 2 micro-pigs, Molly and Millie. Our lovely paddock walk offers stunning views over Leeds and the chance to say hello to Millie and Mary our donkeys, and Bilbo our beautiful Shetland pony.
We aim to provide a family-friendly atmosphere with a real community feel, offering as much interaction with the animals as possible. You can buy a bag of carrots or apples from the Farm Shop for 30p for feeding your favourites, if you call in during spring, you may even be able to bottle feed our new lambs!
